A treehouse in a Norway Maple
In 2022 we enjoyed submitting for a competition being run by the Royal Botanical Gardens in Kew, London, for a treehouse that would celebrate play.
Playing amongst the leaves
Our design played with biomimicry to create a series of hexagonal nests or platforms high amongst the leaves of the tree, to allow safe adventurous play and to encourage curious minds.
Sliced perspective
The spiral staircase at the centre of the design would allow visitors to climb up amongst the leaves where branches of the tree then passed through some of the nests allowing visitors to get up close with tree life.
